Today I spoke to a women who grew up in Africa and knows alot about it. Her 18 year old daughter is there now also. She says rebels have taken over the national reserve where the gorillas are, just today. Please check this out before you head over to the other side to see them. Let me know whats happening. I didn’t know how else to reach you.
These shots are awesome! This is the first time I have been able to check the blog since I have been busy with my own trip. I love the silhouette shot of the person. Hope everything is working out great and it looks like your having fun!
Oh, my god, those pictures are stunning. Tell Mary they make up for how mad I was that I didn’t even know she was going to AFRICA!!! :-) I’m speechless.
Love,
Trav
Happy happy Birthday to a very special granddaughter whom I love dearly. What a gift spending your birthday in such a magical land, with so many wonderful people, sharing new experiences and love.
Happy Birthday! It has been exciting to follow your journey with your Grandma, sharing in her joy of sending you messages. Your picture are great and I’m looking forward to the slideshow of your adventure.
I think your pics are great because they don’t show Rwandans a victims but as people how are overcoming. It’s uplifting not depressing. keep up the inspiration.
