I can’t barely wait to share these pictures of us that we did for an after wedding shoot. Jeff I am so happy to share my life with you. I enjoy every part of who you are and who we are as a couple. We wanted to do something that represented us. We chose our life”s journey, with an emphasis on travel. Many of the props were taken from our house and things we have picked up in our many travels. Of course we had to include our baby Kona. These pictures are price less to me and I hope you enjoy them. Stay tuned for some pics posted on Wedding Chicks
Wow I am so blessed. 6 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. With both chemo and radiation in my future my journey was very uncertain. With the help of family and friends and the healing of God I can now celebrate my recovery of 6 years. Yesterday I spent a long time thinking about grateful I am. I remember the days when I could only see treatments and doctors and I dreamed of this day, yet it seemed so far away. Now I get to celebrate with my husband. Getting married was one of the things I wanted so much in my life but I was never sure it would happen when I was diagnosed. Jeff is such a huge blessing in my life, and I feel honored to call him my husband. He is my best friend and biggest supporter. He treats me so wonderfully and with so much love. We spent this week working on a special portrait shoot from our wedding. It was such a great gift to celebrate my 6 years with this blessing.
So life has been a bit of a wirl wind for the last couple of months. More blogs posts for all my amazing weddings and sessions are coming soon I promise. If it wasn’t enough to buy a house, get married, and start wedding season, we decided to adopt a puppy along with everything else. All I can say is that I am so in love with her. Kona is a yellow lab and is now 3 1/2 months old. Jeff and I couldn’t be happier. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful life. Jeff is such an amazing man, a inspiration to be around, a leader and someone who truly shares his zeal and enjoyment for life with those around him. He sings me a songs on my voicemail while I work weddings and I can’t wait to return to him. Here is to you Jeff my love and our new family.
Today I am so excited to share with you pictures from my own wedding. One month ago I got to walk down the aisle to my best friend Jeff. We felt so blessed to be surrounded my such loving friends and family. Our day was beautiful and so much fun. It went by in a flash. The best part is that now I get to spend the rest of my life with the person I love most. A special thanks to Celeste for capturing these amazing pictures on our special day.
Shawn Cavlan did an amazing job on my hair and make-up, plus she was so much fun to work with.
Jeff, he is so handsome
A necklace that my mom made for my wedding.
Gummy worms, my favorite candy. Jeff made sure that I had a bag with me the night before the wedding. He always takes care of me
My dad walking me down the aisle. I love this pic.
The anticipation. Even though Jeff saw me before the ceremony there were still some tears. I love him.
We had a beautiful ceremony and one of my best friends Pastor Todd led it for us along with a song.
One of my favorite parts during the ceremony. When the pastor asked Jeff if would take me as his wife. Instead of saying I do he yelled, yessssss. It made everyone laugh.
Our decor was simple and elegant. Seascape flowers did the arrangements and they were amazing. We didn’t really have colors so we had a lot of natural earthtones. Our napkins were brought over from my aunt from Thailand. Every napkin was different.
The toasts
I love this moment
The first dance
A little surprise for us at the end.
A note our neices and nephews gave us at the kid table.
