Thailand

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

I am so sorry that I have not had a chance to document my trip to Thailand sooner. Ever since my return it has been a world wind of weddings, weddings, and more weddings. For those of you who haven’t heard I had the chance to photograph a destination wedding for my uncle and new aunt. Jeff and I had the most amazing time traveling from Bangkok, to the country, to the most beautiful and amazing islands. For those you who are thinking of a honeymoon, Koh Tao island in Thailand is the most magical and amazing place I have ever seen. Below are a few pictures from out trip I will post more of the wedding over the next couple of days.

All of these pictures were taken on Jeff’s camera

The elephant safari was one of my favorite things we did.

The food was amazing and the restaurants were all on the beach.

Everyone has to ride a tuk-tuk when they travel to Thailand but this one was called a limosine. Arun’s brother picked us up from our bus ride to the country and we stuffed all our luggage and 5 people on this thing.

The rest of the time we soaked up the sun

THAILAND

Thailand is amazing. The people are wonderful, the food is amazing and the culture is awesome. We have been here about 3 days and I can’t say enough about it. We have experienced everything thing from ridding a tuk tuk and racing a bus in traffic to feeding elephants on the main street. Here are a few pics from the temple tour we took yesterday. I want to write more but I am so tired I don’t think I have recovered from the jet lag just yet.

It’s my turn to get my picture taken

Monday, February 18th, 2008

The other day I asked my incredible friend and assistant photographer Celeste Duran to take some pictures of me and Jeff. We had so much fun at Wilder Ranch. Celeste did such an amazing job. I was so happy with the way the pictures turned out. It was a little crazy being on the other side of the camera and hard to relax at first. I created an album of the pictures and I think it is one of the most different albums that I have ever created. If you would like to see the album from the shoot click here.

Here are a few images from the shoot

Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, Nevada

Yep, it was a long road trip but super fun. Jeff and I headed north this year to so that I could meet his family. I flew to Seattle on New Year’s Eve to meet Jeff’s mom and see a good friend of mine Evan. From there we headed East across Idaho, down Montana and back into Idaho falls to meet Jeff’s brother. His niece and nephew were such a joy to be around and we had so much fun wrestling with them and playing in the snow. Catherine and Ben you guys are awesome thanks for a great time. From Idaho fall Jeff and I traveled into Wyoming and stayed a few days in Jackson Hole. I have never been in such a cold location in my life. I am such a California girl I am not used to below zero temperatures. Jackson Hole was amazing and we were able to take a sleigh ride into the elk refuge and get very close to these amazing animals. After Jackson Hole we drove across Idaho to visit with Jeff’s sister and some more awesome kids. We had a short visit with my Grandma before we reached home. Wow, what an adventure and so much fun. Thank you to all the family for such a great time.
