Recently I published a book from my journey to Africa sponsored by Project Rwanda. My book was just awarded the grand prize for the best published book from Asuka Book contest. The contest was judged by some of the top 10 photographers in the world as well as the editor of Rangerfinder Magazine. I am so blessed and speechless by this honor. I have never won anything of this caliber before. Some of the sponsors for the contest include: Adobe, simply canvas, asuka book. rangefinder, tenba, lensbaby, eventpix, and a workshop with the famous Yervant in Venice Italy.

I get so encouraged when my brides send me an email or message to know how much they like their pictures. While I was in Thailand Kristy sent this email about her engagement photos. Thank you so much Kristy.

I just wanted to say how wonderful the photos are . . .we love them and our friends and family have been in
tears looking at them -especially the people from NY who have never been out here to visit us.

I have been so busy lately shooting engagement pictures I can hardly keep up with the post. I am going to try and blog alot in the next few days so that you can see some of the great couples that I have been blessed with. Chris and Charmaine were super fun to work with and super photogenic. I am looking forward to working with them again soon at their wedding.

Over the last couple of weeks I had the honor of photographing a bunch of engagement pictures. Keep checking back as I will be posting some from each session this week. A couple of weeks ago I photographed Ben and Tori. Ben and Tori are a super fun couple and definitely in love with each other. Ben wanted some pictures in a fields so we headed to Lighthouse field and the beach. Here are a few from the shoot.
