Adam and Kelley

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

So I have been behind on my posting lately, but I just had to show you a few from a recent Nestldown wedding. Adam and Kelley were so fun to work with and this was one of my many favorite weddings from the year. We had so much fun together. Nestldown is such and amazing place to shoot. Here are a few favs from the day.

A little about Adam and Kelley

Kelley:  Is an accomplished artist and her illustrations have been published nationally
Will compete on “So You Think You Can Dance” sometime in her dreams
Cannot wait to get a dog
Loves how Adam so visibly and audibly enjoys his coffee in the morning

Adam:  Has recorded 3 albums as a studio guitarist
Races motorcycles and can name any sportbike from the sound of its exhaust note
Does not appreciate cats as much as Kelley does
I love how she laughs at my jokes when nobody else does

One of my new favorites

1. Chris and Charmaine looovvvveee to be around eachother. They have been friends since college in 1995.

2. They ALWAYS make each other laugh

3. They enjoy watching/playing sports and doing just about anything as long as it is together

4. They have the same initials CLM

Chis and Charmaine were one of my favorite couples of the year. They were very fun to work with and joking with one another. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful at Seascape and at one point I found myself crying during the ceremony. Check out some of the pictures from the day.

John and Christine

Friday, August 29th, 2008

John and Chrisitne had a wonderful wedding at the Fogarty Winery. Their wedding was held on a glorious day and filled with their family and closest friends. The location was amazing with views of the greater bay area, and the food was some of the best and most creative food that I have had at a wedding. It was designed to have different stations with intereactive food stations and made to order food. Amazing job by Thomas John Events. John and Christine were a wonderful couple to work with check out a few of the pictures.

I love the reflection in this shot.

For this shot I climbed into some of the grass by the pont and shot John and Christine through the weeds.

The ceremony was beautiful

A fun shot of the kids. I love photographing kids.

Christine was stunning

How cute are they as a couple

Michael +Maureen

1. Michael and Maureen both love Tori Amos

2. Michael is wicked smart and has a dark sense of humor/Maureen thinks she is pretty good in the brains department, but often ends up being his unwitting straight man.

3. Both Michale and Maureen are able to be really open about things, whether it has to do with their past or where their headed in the future.

Beloved Kiss Me. I love finding notes for the wedding and using the rings to frame them.

Love the shadow shot. How fun.

Michael and Maureen we amazing to work with and were pretty much open for everything even a hike in the woods.

Venue- Pacific Grove, California.

Matt+Justine

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

1. Matt loves to bbq food and is willing to take over cooking anywhere even if it is not his food.

2. The perfect day for Justine is eating some of Matts bbq, drinking a margarita, and hanging out with close friends.

3. When they are away from eachother for more than a day they think about eachother constantly

4. They never give up on eachother. They have been together for 9 years and no matter what gets thrown at them they always come out the other end holding hands and laughing.

Justine was stunning

Love the bubbles. Isn’t the color of them amazing

I love old buildings and brick walls
