I had the honor of photographing Andy and Lisa’s engagement pictures in Berkely. I have not shot at Berkley before or even been there. We had a great time. Here are a few of my favorites.

Shelly+Rob

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

I photographed a wonderful fall wedding at the amazing Nestldown. Shelly and Rob were a beautiful couple to work with and their wedding was filled with people at loved and supported them. Shelly was originally born in Isreal and is able to speak Hebrew with her family. Rob and Shelly have been friend for over 10 years and decided to tie the knot. The fall colors, Shelly’s dress, the flowers and food made for an amazing wedding for them to share.

5 years and cancer free

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

Five years ago today I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Although that time in my life was marked with fear and uncertainty it was also blessed with the amazing support of my friends, family, and God. Today I celebrate my five year mark of survivorship and the celebration of my cure. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago for my routine check up and he told me that I am free and cured from the disease. I cannot express the joy, blessings, freedom that the words “cure” have brought to me. I am so thankful for my life. My grandma and I were discussing how life takes it twists and turns and how much I have been blessed in the last five years. I have traveled the world, I have written a book, I have created an amazing business where I get to capture the love of others, I have found my own love, and in 6 more months I will be married. Thank you to all the support of my friends and family who have taken me every step of the way with love and support in the good times and the bad. I love you all and especially my loving savior Jesus Christ.
