When Ashley and David hired me for their Nestldown wedding, I was instantly excited about their vision for the day. Not only does Ashley have superb taste when it comes to designing an elegant wedding but I was super excited to see their “fur child” Bentley be the ring bearer. I dare you not to smile when see how adorable a 100 plus pound fury puppy is when he dressed in tux. Ashley’s wedding a mix of whimsical and fairytale. I loved the mix of loose flowers and long garlands over the farm table. However, beyond all wedding details, in the end it was Ahsley’s dress that stole the show and a perfect addition to the fairytale bliss. Ashley was radiant and wore her amazing dress with so my grace and style. It was a perfect addition to the magical day.

On another note, Ashley is a very talented hair stylist at Doll House Saloon. A few weeks before my daughter was born she dolled me up with a fresh new look, and made me feel all pretty again. She took amazing care of me and I can’t wait to let her style my hair again.

Nestldown wedding photography

This Nestldown Wedding was nothing short of a modern day fairytale. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful day than this Nestldown wedding. Nestldown is a private estate located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and it is my favorite location for wedding photography. Towering trees with sun bursts of light, a private barn, and lots of room to explore. I love outdoor wedding photography but Nestldown in particular has my heart.

Wedding Photography with a modern day fairy tale twist

Seth and Brittany’s was a perfect compliment to the whimsical and woodland venue. They had mix-matched table settings filled with colorful goblets, vintage plates, flowing flowers, lantern escort cards, stumps, and green moss. But the real magic of the day came from the love that they poured into each other and their guests. They were blessed with so much love and support from friends and family it radiated around them the entire day. There was not a dry eye in the ceremony after Seth and Brittany did the butterfly release and one of the butterfly’s flew from Brittany’s hand to the sign on the chair reserved and honoring her mother. It was this magic that followed them the entire day and truly made their wedding photos at Nestldown a true fairy tale.

Eli and Leah Married

When Eli and Leah asked me photograph their wedding I was completely honored. They are good friends from one of my previous clients whom I love and I just knew their friends and family would make their wedding an incredible party…. And it was. It was a beautiful mix of elegant flair and rich tradition. During the Ketubah ceremony Leah surprised us all by wearing her mothers wedding dress. She had taken it out of her mothers closet, had it cleaned, and put it on for the ceremony to honor her mother. Such a wonderful gift. The wedding and ceremony and reception were at a beautiful winery Casa Real . The mix of vineyards and wonderful party made the day perfect. Congrats Eli and Leah and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day.
