Santa Cruz Beach Engagement | Matt and Inga

Beach days, summer lovin, a perfect recipe for a Santa Cruz engagement shoot. Both Matt and Inga met in Santa Cruz so it was only fitting that we head to the beach to photograph their engagement pictures. 4 mile beach is one of my favorite Santa Cruz locations. I love the tall cliffs and how when the sun sets the light beams over the tops, I love that just behind the cliffs is fields of wildflowers, I love that it is a bit hidden and usually empty aside from the few stray surfers. It is one of my favorite locations to photograph and I so glad I get to share it with my couples.

Alek + Kendall Santa Cruz Engagement

These two knew exactly where they wanted their engagement pictures taken. They quickly responded the famous tree, and once again the tree did not disappoint. The fields and golden sunshine is just a perfect mix with the California terrain. I am constantly surprised at how inspired I get by the simplicity of this beauty. During my time with Alek and Kendall I learned of how they met and their crazy stories of traveling. I look forward to seeing them again this fall when they seal their love together at Nestldown.

Catherine, is beautiful inside and out, she is smart, she succeeds at everything she puts her mind too, she has crazy athletic skills,she is my niece. Jeff, Landon and I are so proud of all that she has done and all that she will continue to do. Congrats on finishing the first 12 years of school. I was so blessed to have this time and document a memory in her life. Cant wait to see where life takes you in the future. Time to start exploring the world.

Jordan and Paige’s Engagement

What started out as a simple photo shoot ended up being an incredible special day. During a recent stay in Newport beach at a family vacation I offered to photograph these two love birds. Jordan is serving as a marine in California and Paige is finishing up some stuff in Idaho until she can join them. They had plans to marry soon but it wasn’t official yet. I received a text during my dinner just a short time before the shoot from Jordan letting me know this was the day. Paige had no idea the entire time and the surprise was priceless. So young, so smitten, so in love, it was a dream come true.

Brian +Jackie + Bump
