Sunriver Wedding Photographer

It was a perfect day for Katie and Jon’s Sunriver wedding. When Katie and Jon originally contacted me they were planning on having an elopement ceremony with just a few friends. But as more and more people found out about the big day and wanted to see Bend Oregon they set a date and decided to have their wedding in Sunriver. They had a casual ceremony with their closest friends and family at Mary MaCullum Park. It was the perfect place to show off Bend Oregon and a special place for Jon as he and his family have a house and grew up going to Sunriver.

Katie and Jon being the adventurous couple that they are planned an entire weekend for their guests featuring hikes and a float down the river.

Bend Engagement Photography |Smith Rock Engagement Photos

I am so excited to share more Smith Rock engagement photos. Smith Rock is one of my favorite Bend Engagement Photography locations.

It seemed like a perfect fit to photograph at Smith Rock. Not only is this Bend location magnificent it is also the location where Jonathan proposed to Carolyn. It holds many memories and hikes for the two of them, and it was a place they absolutely love.

These smith rock engagement photos were filled lots of laughter, an insane wind storm, exploring, and at the end of the day we were lucky enough to see a bald eagle fly directly over our heads. As I mentioned before, everything about the location is magnificent. Looking forward to photographing them again at their Brasada Ranch Wedding.

Bend Wedding Photography – House on Metolious

It was such a treat to shot you this Bend Wedding Photography at House on Metolious. I loved everything about the weding, the mountain views, the sweeping Metolious River, the free range cattle roaming during the ceremony, and the beauty and intimacy of this special day. House on Metolious has held a special place Kirstin’s heart. She spent many memorable summers and holidays on the property. When Kirstin and Mitch decided to get married there they chose to have an intimate ceremony with their children, families, and a few of their closest friends. I loved capturing the look of joy in each others eyes. They created a ceremony that was a perfect fit for just them by adding special touches throughout the day including a private vow reading during the ceremony and a gourmet menu for their guest to dine provided by Blue Bite Catering I am so thankful to work in such a beautiful location as Central Oregon.

Shevlin Park Family Portraits

Fall mini sessions are one of my favorite times of year and I had so much fun this year photographing these Shevlin park family portraits. This was my first year experiencing fall in Bend Oregon, and watching the leaves turn and transform into a rainbow of colors was such a treat. Shevlin Park stole my heart with the aspen grove, I have always had a fascination with aspen trees and watching them change color even brought more inspiration for these family mini sessions.

Bend Oregon Senior Pictures

Senior Pictures in the Central Oregon Badlands

This last week I had the joy of photographing my niece’s senior pictures in Bend Oregon. I was super excited at the opportunity. Since neither of us know the area very well yet, and we wanted something a bit outside the box we headed East to the Badlands Wilderness Desert. Waiting for us was an adventure, an awesome backdrop and a bit of cold weather. Although these pics look like a beautiful day keep in mind that it was probably in the low 40s on this March evening and my niece was brave enough to model in a sleeveless shirt. When leaving the desert I learned three things.

1. I fell love the Badlands and definitely want to explore more of Central Oregon.

2. I have the coolest niece, who not only braved the cold with a smile, she put up with all my creative ideas.

3. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed photographing senior pictures

A bit cold but a trooper
