Wedding Photography in Carmel Valley is one of my favorite destinations. Tehama Golf Club offers 360 views of Carmel Valley and the Monterey Bay but this wedding in particular had a few other surprises that left both me and the guests speechless.

Wedding Photography with a Rainbow and Sunset

This Carmel Valley wedding was such a treat to photograph. The weather came a bit as a surprise but often times can be unpredictable for spring weddings. The ceremony was moved inside to keep the guests warm, but during the cocktail hour the sky began to open. This Carmel Valley wedding won the award for the most amazing rainbow I have yet to see, and one of the most vibrant sunsets I have ever photographed.  Chris and Sarah were adventurous enough to explore the property amidst the rain drops and I am so happy they did. The clouds rolling against the hill tops, and the moody skies creating a very beautiful memory.

On another note, Ashley is a very talented hair stylist at Doll House Saloon. A few weeks before my daughter was born she dolled me up with a fresh new look, and made me feel all pretty again. She took amazing care of me and I can’t wait to let her style my hair again.

Tacos, Pinatas, and tequila, oh my….this fiesta themed rehearsal dinner was a perfect match for the hacienda at Holman Ranch.  I rarely do rehearsal dinners but after this one I realized I am missing out on so much fun. Kyle and Alissa traveled all the way from Texas to plan their destination wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. Since they had already had an engagement shoot in Paris they opted to do a rehearsal dinner shoot instead of a second engagement session. Let me tell you this was quite the PARTY. They had just over 190 guests at their wedding and 140 for those guests attended the rehearsal dinner as well. The dinner was a perfectly themed mexican fiesta filled with pinatas, sombreros, mariachi band, homemade tequila tasting, authentic mexican dancers, a taco bar and so much more. There was also just enough time to steal them away for a few sunset pictures on the property.
