Towering trees at this Redwood Nestldown wedding surrounded Andy and Krista during their first look, but the true magic was in the joy when they first saw each other. Andy and Krista’s first look was one of my favorites to document. The surprise and the beauty that they have for each other speaks volumes. I loved Krista’s reaction to Andys dress and all the emotion they shared. It was true magic.

We had a blast exploring the trails and forrest at this Nesldown Redwood Wedding and I had so much fun photographing these two brides laughing in the sun soaked forrest.

Nestldown Wedding

I have been photographing weddings at Nesltdown for over 10 years and it is still my favorite location in Santa Cruz, California. Not only does it hold a special place in my heart as it is where I said my “i do” 9 years ago, I just love being under the canopy of redwoods. The outdoor wedding venue is constantly changing in every season and the venue itself always has new hidden locations and trails to be explored. The artist in me can barely hold myself back when I see the light shinning through the majestic redwood trees.

Indian Wedding Photography

The Baraat Indian Ceremony is one of my favorite ceremonies to photograph. It’s usually during the middle of the Barat when I am surrounded by beautiful colors, music, and dancing that I am filled with gratitude that I have such an amazing job. The Indian ceremony Barat of Nirmal and Allison took place in downtown San Jose, close to where I went to school at San Jose State. I remember walking the same streets that they danced on as a young photojournalism student dreaming of photographing such an event. I could not be more grateful to share such a wonderful day.
